The Unspoken Wound: Unlearn, Uproot and Unlock with Ustadha Yasmin Mogahed (USA)

There are wounds we don’t speak about —

The grief of broken expectations, the ache of being misunderstood, the silent pain of giving too much and losing ourselves in the process.

Whether it’s heartbreak, betrayal, disappointment in love, or the sadness of relationships that didn’t turn out how you prayed — this course is your invitation to stop carrying the weight alone.

“The Unspoken Wound” is a healing journey designed to help process emotional pain at the root. With a blend of Islamic insight, emotional depth, and trauma-informed reflection, you’ll learn how to make peace with what was, find meaning in the pain, and reconnect with Allah in the midst of it all.

    This isn’t about moving on.

It’s about moving inward — toward healing, closure, and wholeness.

    Course Theme:

    1: The Invisible Wound

-Why we hurt the way we do: the psychology of attachment, loss & unmet expectations

-How childhood and past relationships set the emotional stage for today

-The spiritual perspective on pain and the unseen wisdom in heartbreak

2: What You Were Really Looking For

    - The silent search for validation, safety, and belonging through love

-Why certain people affect us so deeply

-How to separate love from dependency, and presence from need

    3: The Weight of Disappointment

-Grieving what never happened, and letting go of ‘almost’

-Understanding emotional stuckness, replaying conversations, and closure

-Moving from blame and bitterness to self-compassion and clarity

4: When Faith and Feelings Clash

-How to stay spiritually anchored when your heart feels shattered

-Why du‘as feel unanswered and how Allah responds to emotional pain

-Reconnecting with your Rabb through tears, confusion, and surrender

5: Letting Go Without Losing Yourself

-Setting emotional boundaries with compassion and dignity

-Processing betrayal, ghosting, or emotional manipulation

-Releasing with grace: forgiveness vs. freedom from harm

    6: The Return to Wholeness

    -Rebuilding self-worth and emotional safety

-Creating inner space for new, healthy, and aligned relationships

-Walking forward with resilience, faith, and a heart that trusts again
